Copy this code to your website to display this banner!hey I hope if anyone of you loyals get a chance check out sixx: am the album featuring nikki sixx and dj ashba and michael jacobs?... oh yah and please if you can read nikki sixx's book, the heroin diaries: a year in the life of a shattered rockstar!.. been out since sept... 18, 2007! he is touring the united states and select cities are holding book signings... if any of you dont know, he (NikKI) has been in a lot of bands finally landing in MOtley Crue: think TOmmy Lee and Vince Neil and has been very successfulll!! anyways i know on Oct. 27 at 2pm he will be in Seattle, Wa doing a book signing at the barnes and noble!! bleh i cant go cause i have to work but in the future i will make sure i can go... um everywhere that i have checked doesnt have the book locally but they have the cd... i called borders in olympia and they definelty will have it in , in a bout a week and half and they said theyll call me... i read the 32 page excerpt and i was hooked , boy is it interesting!

Mötley Crüe founder and bassist Nikki Sixx knows first-hand what it’s like to have to fend for yourself on the streets, which is why he has launched “Running Wild in the Night,” a fundraising initiative for Covenant House. Covenant House provides services in 21 cities, 15 in the U.S., to homeless and runaway youth, including advocacy, health care, education, vocational preparation, drug abuse treatment and prevention programs, legal services, recreation, transitional living programs, street and community outreach and aftercare. “I chose to work with Covenant House after a lot of research - I saw what they were doing and it was exactly what I had invisioned for helping at-risk kids – I visited the Los Angeles location and was impressed by the whole operation.”
George Lozano, Executive Director of Covenant House California said, “Having someone like Nikki associated with Covenant House is great – he’s passionate about what he does, he’s passionate about the cause, he can relate to the youth in our program and they can relate to him. He’s a great role model for these kids.”
Having experienced life as a runaway myself, I wanted to do something to help kids put in this position through no fault of their own,” said Nikki, who admitted that music was perhaps the single most important factor in saving him from that situation. “I want to raise awareness and funds for Covenant House and to create a creative arts program, starting with an emphasis on music, to enable Covenant House to help young people discover and nurture their talents like I did through music”
To that end, Nikki has established “Running Wild in the Night,” to raise funds to support Covenant House’s work in providing services to nearly 78,000 youth last year. Since being incorporated in New York City in 1972, the agency is supported almost entirely by private contributions.
“This cause is obviously near and dear to my heart,” said Nikki. “And I’m hoping that my efforts will enable even one homeless or runaway kid to achieve what I have in life. Saving the life of one kid who grows up and has a child of his or her own who could be the person who cures cancer or aids there is no way to know how far the reach can go.”

i mean it means a lot of me that his heart is in the right place for these poor shattered souls... thank goodness for people like him.... you rock Nikki!!

music is a major part of my life... i have always like singing, writing music, choir... but never had the courage to do it... any thing that is inspirational or has a good sound , especially the percussion part is fun...i even was gonna start a band with my cousins but it never happened... but oh well ! music is and will always be a part of my life! hope it moves youi in the way it does for me! it has always had a profound impact on me !

this is so stupid... a couple of programs on the news show that children are stealing for their mom and dad or grandma. because mom or dad told the kids to do that... and these kids are not teenagers they are young>.. isnt that wrong.... why are these poor innocent kids being taught wrong and being victimized?
Shoplifting family caught on tapethis is the kind of stuff that makes me Sick!

life lately seems nothing but montonous.. get up go to work come home, go to class and go home go to bed... i have always loved big cities and i love having lots of stuff to do... here though there is not a damned thing to do... its now slowing down and i hate that for the winter i just wanna get away and go someplace nice, vegas? australia, ok i doubt that will happen so now i will stay in this dreadful town but one day maybe.....
i dont know but one day when i can (maybe when i am 60) i wanna travel the world and see new sights meet new people , hell maybe go backpacking in europe visit russia, italy , greece, rome england, australia, china japan, egypt, etc... i love the variety of cultures all around... it is so amazing...
well its just another one of my stupid blogs...
